Game Designer

I have always had a passion for games and almost every aspect of how they are made, especially the game's internal mechanics and design. I have spent a lot of time playing a large variety of games, and always tried my best to learn every detail to play games in my own way.

My ideal game would be a endless open world RPG, and as impossible as that is as a designer I will always try to get as close to it as possible. I have experience working with Unreal 5 and Unity and have also experimented with unity VR and adaptive audio, as I like to work by creating a game mechanic and then designing the game around its use, including immersion and feedback to the player to make said mechanic feel as intuitive and natural as possible.

The combination of game mechanics and a narrative reasoning for said mechanics has always hooked me in, so I am always looking for a new story and trying to create my own, and ways to use them as a game loop in its own way to create a new experience of my own, or change/enhance and existing one that I would like to see happen differently.

 

I am currently studying Creative Media & Game Technologies at Hanzehogeschool Groningen.
